Picklesburgh

Are you a pickle lover? Did you know that there is an entire food festival dedicated to pickles!!? Picklesburgh is hosted in Pittsburgh, PA by the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership each summer. Vendors offer a variety of pickle-themed food items and merchandise.

Picklesburgh has been such a fun experience for me and is one of my favorite places to share my crochet projects.

Our Story

It was the Spring of 2023 when I came across Picklesburgh as a vendor opportunity. Having attended in person, I knew what fun the weekend would be, so I went out on a limb and applied. A few weeks later, I was accepted and soon became a little pickle crazy!!

2023

This was the first time I experienced a sell-out at an event & even a line at my booth! It was a surreal experience and truly brought tears to my eyes. I left the weekend with a full heart and pure gratitude for the community.

2024

Excited to return for another year, I focused on adding a new item and bringing lots of inventory! Merchandise vendors were bundled in the “Briny Bazaar” which was a great success.

Preparation

So many hours of work go into a one-day event let alone a four-day event. It really is a marathon but worth every second! With 36 hours of event time, add in load in/out, and inventory prepping, this event takes a lot of preparation as a vendor. Of course, it wouldn’t be the great event it is without the PDP’s planning and coordination for all of us vendors!
